My husband and I got a room block at The Hilton Garden Inn Austin University Capitol District for our wedding because it was in the sweet spot of nice, well-located, and reasonably priced. We were so pleased with the accommodations and all the staff! Julia, the Sales Manager, went above and beyond to answer our many questions, help me get welcome bags distributed, and upgrade my room. I stayed at the hotel the night before the wedding, and the staff was so helpful. I felt at ease right away! My family and friends said the same thing, commenting multiple times on how well they were treated. There are so many hotel choices in Austin, and we're incredibly glad we booked a room block at The Hilton Garden Inn Austin University Capitol District.

We booked a last minute trip to Austin and were looking for pet friendly options. The hotel was very welcoming to pets and their humans alike. The staff were very prompt in service and friendly. Smiling faces all around. The valet Patrick was super friendly and very helpful! There was a pet fee of $75. Would encourage a pet relief area in the hotel if possible as the grassy spots close by are few and with the traffic poses a challenge.

Patrick and Forest were great! Patrick was our valet and remembered us from checking in. He was super helpful and very fast getting our car. Forest was our bartender who engaged with us and was very personable the entire time. What a great experience!

Very clean rooms and super friendly staff! Thanks for making us so welcomed during Christmas! Hotel also has a great rooftop. It is a bit of walk to the downtown but there are buses available in front of the hotel and also 2 blocks to State Capitol.

We have been staying here for the past month during special session. Patrick is one of the valet guys and always seems to be working whether we come in day or night. Always meets you with a smile and professional, courteous and goes the extra mile to make sure our needs are met and remembers our name. The front staff is also professional and accommodating. The restaurant on the first floor has great food choices and the bar/wait staff do a good job as well. Keep up the great work.

My first visit to Austin — great location, clean room and friendly service. Chris at the front desk did everything he can to make my two-week stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Super friendly and kind. Highly recommend!

Enjoyed a night here! The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Joy at the front desk assisted with several requests and was very kind, and Devin was very helpful and professional with the valet parking. All the team members helped make it an excellent stay!

I stayed at the hotel with friends for a wedding yesterday and the hotel staff was super accommodating. I believe it was Tara at the front desk, Nikia at the bar and Patrick with Valet that went above and beyond. Great rooms, awesome 17th floor rooftop views and delicious food and drink. The only downside was I couldn’t stay another day. 5 stars!
